A few beads..

So we have 9 children among us.. 11, 9, two 5 year olds, 3, 2 , two 1 year olds, and a teensy, nursing infant..I am not sure whose idea it was to go to a parade in the bitter cold..But, we all went..Katie and Terese were in snow suits..the other kids had on 2 jackets, hats, stockings...anything we could find. Looking back I don't remember anyone saying do you think it is to cold for the kids...it was more like..anyone have an extra hat for ....

Shane bought hot chocolate for all of us to warm up..30 minutes later Emily is crying (literally) because she has to use the bathroom. We introduced her to hiding behind a dumpster..ahh Mardi Gras brings out the class in people.

This Mardi Gras Logan started getting girls attention..yuck. They would point at him or call him over and hand him a rose or something..He would saunter over and get his prize..ohh..makes me a little..change that to alota sick. The girls are not complaining because he racked up...

This was Claire's first Mardi Gras..and she had the wave down. She was propped on Uncle Joey's shoulders. A few fine folks who had one to many would start pelting her with beads..Uncle Joey had to do the dodge and run...Seriously, what were they thinking?

Please, ignore my voice..sounds shrilling..
All bundled up..
Dawn, Bridget and me..we are wearing scarves, and gloves..it was sooo cold.

Mary Grace as the homey..
Will and Matthew
Snow White was on this float..hence the look of awe
After the parade...
