Mommy gets a raise...

Claire going to school in her big girl panties..


Well today is the day..I finally get that hard earned raise..After 11 years...I think I deserve it..My final child is POTTY TRAINED! Yes, Claire is wearing her panties to school..Thank goodness for princess themed panties.." I don't want to tee tee on Beauty" ( sleeping beauty)..."No, Claire..you don't she wouldn't like that very much.."
" No, she likes her pink dress..she doesn't like yellow..."

So back to my hard earned raise...a big box of diapers is around 20.00 a month..give or take some change..What can I do with an extra 20 for just me..

- Go to the movies, and get a big bag of twizzlers for me not to share..A movie that does not have talking chipmunks, cars, or a princess theme..

- A pedicure..where the polish is straight, and I picked the color myself..because no one 'insisted' on helping..

- A book or two..that does not have pictures but a plot, character development and more than 15 pages...

- 15 music downloads..that are not Diego singing about Animal Rescues, Hannah Montana, or The Jones Brothers..

- lunch with a friend where you use your utensils..and swallow your food..while noting the taste and having an adult conversation...there is no drive thru window, toys to play with, or gigantic clown, cow (dressed up like a chicken...) or king anywhere...

Back to reality...seriously 20..That 20.00 will go to more groceries...These kids are eating me out of house and home..Every morning after breakfast Logan is still hungry..I have started to feed him dinner leftovers..Here are some eggs and blueberry muffins for your 1 st course...followed by a banana and orange..and then lasagna (or chicken, roast...) Seriously...I wonder if Kroger accepts direct deposit because that is where I am headed...I need a bigger raise...
