Lotsa going on....

Okay so life is getting away from me..how do I stay so busy and stay sane...Oh yeah I dont...

We took Emily to a soccer tournament in San Antonio last weekend..Her team won a tournament here and advanced to a National Tournament in San Antonio...It was an eye opener for all of us..I have heard of stage parents how about soccer parents..The girls we played against brought their own personal trainor and practiced a minimum of 2 hours a day 5 days a week...Rain or shine..They are 9..talk about burn out...Our girls during the break between games laughed and played..they ran laps to stay loose..Now, those girls did beat our team..But, they were 9 year old soccer robots..I am glad I have a daughter who just loves to play soccer..not a robot.

Shane's parents came up to watch the rest of the crew..They usually come up in February so we can have an anniversary weekend away without kids..This year our weekend was Shane, me and Emily...We had a good time...Oh, so Mrs. Ann and Mr. Bob decided to tryout Logan's Wii..seriously folks I laughed so hard..I could not breathe..I thought Mr. Bob was going to box out our tv over..




In other exciting news, Logan's science fair project came in 1st place for his class...Alkaline versus Rechargable: A battery life Comparison...In case you are wondering rechargables won.. They had the awards ceremony during school hours..Emily said she had her whole class sitting with their fingers crossed..and when they called his name..They all (including her teacher) went crazy..

Mary Grace's caterpillars turned into butterflies...Only 1 flew away..2 had wing problems, and 1 overdosed on oranges..Apparently you CAN love a butterfly to much..
