A moment of Claire

For some reason..it seems that the last few months Claire has had alot going on..So, this is basically a Claire post..

She turned 4..my baby turned 4..She is loosing her baby fat, writing her name, swimming like a champ, has friends, and has a funny personality..ask her to say 'wheel of wow'..makes me giggle every time..I still whisper in her ear..for her to stop growing..and she always gives me a sweet smile in return..

This is from her Chuck E Cheese party..part deux.

In our family it is a tradition for the birthday person to pick out the meal..this year she wanted pizza and strawberries..with a chocolate cake with marshmallows all over it..

She had her first recital in June..and actually knew the dance..to our surprise..what you would never know..is she smashed her finger as we walked in the auditorium..had cried all of her make-up off, and twirled her hair right out of the bun..

She swam across the pool..and dropped a second...the whole team cheered her on..she was so proud of herself..I of course..had a lump in my throat..because I watched her conquer a fear..

.

As happy as I am..that she is turning into an independent girl..I miss her baby days..And, I really miss being the mom of a bunch of small children..I am blessed that they coming into their own...but, sometimes..sometimes.. I close my eyes..and sing to myself..

These are the days..These are days you’ll remember...Never.. before and never since, I promise...Will the whole world be warm as this...And as you feel it..You’ll know it’s true..That you are blessed and lucky...It’s true that you..Are touched by something...That will grow and bloom in you...
