Mark

Everyone needs an Uncle Mark in their family ( I had one..Aunt Myrtle..we all loved Aunt Myrtle..) Mark played with the kids, had swimming competitions, helped with the dishes, and watched "Water Horse" alot of times...without complaining..We dragged him to Splashtown and he hit the rides with the older kids..I only had Claire..I think I had the easier time..He bought junkie snacks..over riding me with the 'I am older than you' stance..

Since Logan was a wee one..we have always spent the 4th with Mark. At the beginning he would show up with a few sparklers, that graduated to a bag of goodies, this year he showed up with a box as tall as Mary Grace..It was awesome.

I know that at the end of his visit he is ready to go home..home to a quiet, peaceful world. But, this chaotic crew misses you around.. and wishes you lived closer..Hey Cheeburger, Cheeburger is hiring.. Love you, nerd.

Shane's flip and Mark's jack knife...The kids were a captive audience..

Our kids have their fabulous Uncle Chris, who is still single, and is WAY cool because he has a convertible! Is also remembered for taking the kids to Target/Walmart for birthdays and Christmas, and spending way too much money because he loves to spoil 'em. Will also tolerate being a six foot climbing apparatus for 4 screaming kids.
Yeah, every family needs a great uncle.
