Sweet Lucy Mae

Lucy was born last month and I have yet to post about her..I have got to get on the ball..Her birth was highly anticipated around here..Mary Grace was typical Mary Grace.. asking questions like "How did Mrs. Katie know she was pregnant?" or " Did Mr. Jeremy think Mrs. Katie was lying when she told him she was going to have a baby?"..Then one day she said that when she was doing sit ups during P.E. she felt something strange in her tummy..and maybe she too was going to have a baby..I told her it was probably heartburn..

Anyway, Claire talked about Lucy from sun up until sun down..how much longer unti she came? She would cup her hands to show me how she was going to hold her..Every baby she had was named baby Lucy..Well, the day I told her we were going to see baby Lucy...she was adorable..and acted so silly....Here are a few pictures of it..


When Emily saw Lucy birth announcement on the refrigerator she walked over to me in a hushed voice and said, "Oh, mom let's not tell them they misspelled her middle name.."




Took Claire to her first Pump It Up party..I still think of her as my little peanut and for some reason I thought that she would not have much fun at this party..I thought she would not be able to climb the structures..whatever...shows you how much I know..She is almost 3..3 years old..my youngest is going to be 3..man, what a reality check...You know what reality is over rated anyway..
